Users in the autopatroller user group have one's own edits automatically marked as patrolled ('autopatrol'). This is useful for veteran users whose edits we presume ain't going to be problematic and thus do not need to be highlighted for further review, e.g. at Special:NewPages. This permission can be added and removed by administrators and content administrators.
