There exists a private svn repository that houses configurations and scripts that are not suitable to be world viewable.

Check out

svn co 'svn+ssh://svn.wikimedia.org/svn-private/wmf' private-wmf

Access permissions

In order to have write access to the private repository you need to be in the svn-private UNIX group. Simply asking someone with root access to the svn host to edit /etc/group will work.

Note: Mark is in the process of crafting a newer repository for our puppet and general system configuration. This new repository might supercede this private repository when it's ready. --Tomasz Finc 17:44, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
