people1003 was a virtual machine running on Ganeti on Debian bullseye. It hosted the service People.wikimedia.org. All shell admin groups had access.

It has replaced the former server people1002 in Phabricator:T280989.

It has been replaced by new machine people1004 in June 2023.

Connecting

Connect to people1003 over ssh by proxying through a bastion (e.g. bast1003.wikimedia.org). As with other hosts, ensure you have ProxyJump configured in .ssh/config (see Production shell access). Then connect as follows:
