Gerrit newcomer bot welcomes newcomers and provides a process to query their patches in Gerrit.
It does two things:
- Adds a reviewer
Welcome, new contributor!and uploads a message in a comment to a patch submitted by a first time contributor. - Adds contributors with five patches submitted in total to a
Newcomersgroup.
To query newcomer patches in Gerrit, fetch by typing in the search terms:
- First time contributors:
reviewer:Welcome, new contributor!https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/q/reviewer:%22Welcome%252C+new+contributor!%22 - New contributors with five patches in total:
